A Sklavenitis supermarket opened in Ermionida on 15th April 2025, during Holy Week of Easter, alongside the main Kranidi-Kilada road junction.  This new branch is part of Greece's largest supermarket group, with other stores in Nafplio, Argos, Corinth, Tripoli, Trizina and Kalamata.  The supermarket opened in time to catch the Easter and May Day tourist holiday season.  The Sklavenitis group aims to further strengthen its presence in tourist areas, as the entire food retail sector continues the process of expanding its network to the most popular tourist destinations.  The new Kranidi supermarket offers 1,200 Sqm of retail space and a total of 114 decent outdoor parking spaces.  The staff have had extensive customer service training before the store opened, to welcome all their customers with a friendly smile.
