Salanti is a small coastal village located between the villages of Didyma, Fourni and Kilada. The nearest town with all local amenities is Kranidi, approximately 19kms away by road. Kranidi is the capital of the Ermionida area and has various banks, post office, shops, a 24-hour medical centre and coaches departing from the Ermionida Hotel for Ligourio/Epidavros, Isthmia/Corinth and the central inter-city bus station in Athens.
Salanti is made up of a small number of private dwellings located behind the wonderful sand and pebble beach. There are luxury villas and the 'Costa Bianca' village complex a little beyond Salanti beach. 'Costa Bianca' is an exclusive private housing estate, designed as a village, which offers secure private residency with various holiday and sports facilities. Salanti is central to visiting various historical and cultural places of interest like the ancient theatre of Epidavros, the beautiful city of Nafplio, the caves at Didyma and Franchthi, the Monastery of Avgou near Pelei, the resort and marina at Porto Heli and the traditional coastal towns of Kilada and Ermioni. From Ermioni you can visit the Argo-Saronic Islands of Hydra and Poros, or from the small port of Kosta you could visit the Island of Spetses.
