Kosta is a small port on the Southern tip of the Ermionida region and offers the main sea crossing point to the Argo-Saronic Island of Spetses. Kosta is 22 kms from Ermioni and only 5 kms from Porto Heli. Kosta has a charming family-run waterfront taverna next to a clean sandy beach and there is also a small hotel available for visitors. There are numerous car-parking spaces available near the ferry-boat docking area, but these get filled quickly during the main holiday months. There are different options available for the sea crossing to Spetses, from the slow but economical ferry-boat to the fast water-taxis which only take a couple of minutes to get you across.
Kosta's coastline has recently become the place for the wealthy and famous Athenians and Europeans to buy or build their lavish sea-front villas. These elevated properties offer wonderful views across the clear blue sea to the Island of Spetses.
